Well so far Egypt has been amazing. It's a little cooler than we thought that it would be during night but in the day it is getting to be in the mid 30's. We are currently in Alexandria, which in the very north of Egypt on the Mediterainean. In a few hours we will be leaving here and traveling back down to Cario were we catch an over night train to Aswan in the South of Egypt. Our trip being a 'comfort' tour has been well worth it, simply for feeling safe as well as being able to trust the water and food - brilliant, although I have to say that staying at the Mariot and the like is very cushy, but they are generally in the best part of town as well so that we dont have to really travel to get out and about. The only downer about staying in 5 Star hotels is that some things, like internet, are at 5 Star prices - last night it would have cost us US$25!!! But we are currently at the Alexandria Library, where the entry ticket includes 1 hour free internet. Sadly we can't access our email, or post photos, but at least we can write! We're really enjoying receiving posts from people - it really makes the website worth it, so please do sign up (so that your nameappears on the post) & leave us messages :)
Well, we're a bit bored of being in the library now - especially with the Meditteranian beckoning from the window, so we are going to head outside...

Well have finally signed in as requested. Why it took me soo long to do...especially when it is getting close to the end of your journey...but better late than never as they say.
Thought I would commissarite with you on the cold nights as the winter is drawing nearer here. Went down to 5 degrees last night and is only meant to reach 15 today. But the sun is shining at least.
Real estate agent has arrived so have to go.

Mm, certainly aint in teh mid 30s here....we're heading off to Queenstown/Central tomorrow, and it's snowing down to 200m! But should be warmer next week - we're staying with tottys and withers next weekend. That'll be sad - hopefully we'll get up to Sharplin Falls.
look forward to seeing more photos, but good to hear the tour is still going well
