Wow, what a beautiful city. Shame about the 1 million tourists in such a small city but it's very nice indeed. We walked for a good three hours through the central city which has ancient buildings everywhere with grand gardens and wonderful turrets. We didn't do anything in particular but just walked around enjoying it all. I have to say that traveling with a car is a whole new experience though - its fairly stressful and you have to be a bit more prepared than we are used to but I have a feeling that the weekend traffic is the culprit at the moment and it will be a Little easier when we get to the smaller city's. Ironically, it appeared to be graduation day in Oxford when we were there - well, either that, or the whole city desses up to the nines and people wear their gowns all weekennd!
