Southampton to Dover

We decided to get underway and cover a good distance today. We drove to Leeds castle which is just before Dover, and I have to say it really is how castles should be! It has been renovated beautifully with full electrics and water facilities. It has been lived in as a private residence until the end of the last century so its very easy to see how it was used in real life. After a good two and a half hours walking around that we finished the drive to Dover. After being in Dover for about 3 minutes we decided that we should keep going - it really is ruined by all the truck traffic - I guess no one stops there so it's very run down. Found a little B&B just out of the city at the top of the hill so we had ocean views - nice.
